Living with the Forest

Sustainability here is not a project: it is how life has always been under these trees. From the way our huts are built to the way we cook and clean, every choice is made to keep balance with the forest around us.

  • Compost Toilets: Our two-pit compost system turns what would be waste into living soil, feeding the trees and non-edible plants around the grounds.

  • Kitchen Loops: Nothing is thrown away lightly. Food scraps from the restaurant are composted by pits and earthworms, and the compost returns to our gardens, closing the loop naturally.

  • Water Without Plastic: Safe drinking water is always available. Guests are invited to refill bottles instead of buying new ones.

  • Natural Cleaning: We make our own cleaners. Bio-enzymes from fruit peels, jaggery, and water. No chemicals and no waste.

Built with Intention

Our eco huts are handmade with bamboo, rice straw, and laterite stone, using what the land offers. They are built to breathe with the forest, not shut it out.

Much of our furniture is repurposed or hand-crafted, giving old wood a new life. Even the mosquito nets, bedsheets, and curtains are stitched by us by hand.

Solar Power

We are committed to a future that is powered by earth’s most abundant energy source. With newly installed panels, we are steadily moving toward full reliance on it.

Living with Neighbors

This forest is alive with fireflies, squirrels, birds, bats, and countless other beings. At night, our paths are lit softly and sparingly, so that darkness still belongs to them.

Every choice here is guided by the same thought; how do we live as part of this place, not apart from it?
