Vishwa Yoga Teacher Training and S. India Tour Journey to the Heart
Bhakti Kutir will be hosting Basic and Advanced Yoga Teacher Trainings this year. The Basic training is 25 days, starting on Nov 28th and the Advanced Training is 40 days, starting on Nov 22nd. Both trainings will be lodged at Bhakti Kutir until Dec 15th (2011). The remainder of the trainings are part of an educational tour that will take you to some of the most beautiful, spiritual and historically significant parts of south India: Dudh Sagar, Bondla Nature Sanctuary, Hampi, Kerala, right down to the tip of India in Kanya Kumari, then up to the south east French colony of Pondicherry, and the international village of Auroville.
That’s not all, you will also learn yogic therapies such as Ayurveda, Virtues Based Counseling, Pranic Healing and Thai Yoga Massage. With just a short review of the more detailed information at the link provided it will become obvious that there is nothing that compares to this training. Furthermore proceeds from the training go towards many karma yoga service projects via Virtues First, Inc. (www.virtuesfirstprojects.com) a non-profit organization based in the United States but specifically focused on educational and humanitarian projects to help India’s poor and downtrodden.
Both trainings are registered with Yoga Alliance making one eligible for the internationally recognized RYT 200 or 500 status. The RYT 500 is for advanced level students and requires previous teacher training experience. The RYT 200 is for basic level students and last for a shorter duration.
